Day 1: Arrival Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel. Depending on the timeyou arrive, you could go for an optional sunset cruise on Lake Victoria from Entebbe in the late afternoon by boat out towards the equator line or local islands to view the sun over the horizon.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park:

After breakfast you shall start your tour. Driving through Kampala & Masindi to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest National Park. The Park is renowned for its scenic beauty and the spectacular falls, from which the park derives its name. Murchison Falls has abundant flora and fauna to delight the visitor. From rolling savannah and tall grasslands to thick bush and woodlands, the diversity of this park never ceases to amaze visitors and residents alike. They can be viewed from the top where the Nile River narrows from 50 meters to crash through a 7 meter gorge, falling 45 meters to the rocks beneath.

Day 3: Boat Ride to The Nile Delta, Game Drive And Launch Cruise On The River Nile

After an early breakfast, you will go for a boat ride to the Nile Delta. Another interesting but more placid activity through the extensive papyrus delta through which the Victoria Nile flows into Lake Albert. Here again there are plenty of animals and birds to see with an excellent chance of seeing the rare Shoe-bill. You will enjoy a bush breakfast and later proceed for a game drive.

This is a beautiful drive across savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile, to Murchison falls, whence the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls. After you will hike to the top of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap and at the bottom you will see huge Nile Crocodiles basking.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park (The primate capital of the world)

Today, early morning after breakfast we shall transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park, driving through Kiryanga, Bulindi, Hoima and fort portal where we shall have lunch from. Later in the afternoon arrive at your booked place for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi swamp walk

After breakfast you will go to the briefing point before chimp trek. The experienced ranger guide will take you through the briefing on what to expect and how to go through the forest and code of conduct.

After briefing, you will be allowed to start your trek through the tropical rain forest for the ultimate experience to meet man’s closest relatives and on meeting them you will be only allowed with them and enjoy a wonderful forest experience. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. Later after lunch and relaxation we shall take on the famous Bigodi swamp for bird viewing and nature walk.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park:

Early in the morning after breakfast you shall proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy a game drive on your way in. Named after her Majesty the Queen of England, it is Uganda’s most popular and most scenic game reserve.

Check in at a designated lodge where you shall stay. After check in, have lunch and later have an evening game drive. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. This huge expanse of protected area is indeed Uganda’s most varied natural habitat for mammals.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Ishasha tree climbing lions:

On this day early in the morning after breakfast, you shall transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and have a game drive through the Ishasha sector of the QENP enroute for its famous tree climbing lions. Depending on the time of arrival in Bwindi, after check-in and lunch either relax or take a community walk to the local communities of the Bakiga and Batwa.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking and Batwa Cultural experience/ visit to Rutaro:

On this day early in the morning after breakfast, you shall be driven to the Visitors’ information center where you shall meet with the ranger guide for briefing and allocation of the gorilla family to be tracked before setting off for the jungle. There you shall meet with the gentle and yet humble giants. Spending an hour with these creatures is an experience for which many describe as life changing, magical and humbling, there’s no better safari experience like Gorilla tracking. Later at around mid-day, return from Gorilla tracking, relax and depending on whether we visited Batwa or not today’s afternoon will be up to meeting with Rutaro and or Batwa experience.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo:

On this day, early in the morning after breakfast you shall be transferred to L. Mburo national park situated on the border of Tanzania, and on the Kampala highway, Uganda’s smallest national park acts as home to various species of savannah animals including lions, hyenas, zebras, impalas, and giraffes, as well as water-loving animals such as hippos and crocodiles who can be found by the lake. Enjoy fantastic game viewing as you make your way towards the lodge. Arrive and overnight stay in Lake Mburo.

Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe: Today very early in the morning after breakfast, we shall take on

the road for a 4½ hrs drive to Entebbe for departure.
