Day 1: Arrival Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel. Depending on the time you arrive, you could go for an optional sunset cruise on Lake Victoria from Entebbe in the late afternoon by boat out towards the equator line or local islands to view the sun over the horizon.

Day 2: Fly to Kibale National Park

Today you will fly from Murchison Falls National Park to Kasese Airstrip and then transfer to Fort Portal Kibale National Park, along the way you will pass many tea plantations. On the way you stop in Fort Portal. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking, Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Boat Ride

After breakfast you will go for Chimp tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. After lunch you shall proceed to Queen Elisabeth National Park, enjoy a game drive on your way in. Named after her Majesty the Queen of England, it is Uganda’s most popular and most scenic game reserves. In the evening, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.

Day 4: Game Drive in Ishasha, Drive to Bwindi National Park

Depart for Bwindi National Park in the morning on your way; you will have a chance to have a game drive in Ishasha Sector where the tree climbing lions are found. Then continue to the home of the mountain Gorillas. Of Uganda’s forested parks, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for gorilla Tracking, but it also provides refuge to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys and various small antelopes, as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking

This morning you will get up early and go to the Visitors Information Center for briefing before taking on the dense forest for gorilla trekking experience with a primate expert. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas.

Day 6: Fly to Kampala and Transfer to Jinja

On this day, you will go for the Batwa Cultural Experience, an integral part of all our travels with the aim of giving these indigenous peoples hope towards a brighter future filled with hope and dignity. Later at around Mid-day, you will transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will transfer by road to Lemala Wild-waters lodge in Jinja and visit the Source of the Nile upon arrival.

Day 7: Half-day Whitewater rafting and Horseback Riding.

On this day you will be transferred to Itanda falls where white-water rafting is conducted. You will spend half day here on this thrilling rafting adventure. Definitely your adrenaline shall be tested here. Later in the afternoon, you shall be transferred to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you may either choose to relax off the lodge premises or go for a horseback ride. The ride at Wild-Waters Lodge is ideal for friends and family who wish to ride together but have a variety of riding abilities. The ride passes through the nearby community and includes a section along the banks of the famed Nile.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe through Kampala.

On this day after a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Entebbe through Kampala. After 2hrs drive you will reach Kampala, Uganda’s capital, depending on the arrival time in Kampala, you will have a stop for a city tour on foot and later go to a chosen restaurant for local lunch/ local food experience or the other way round. (Lunch before the city tour)

Later in the afternoon, you will transfer to Entebbe, where depending on the time of arrival may consider taking a stroll to Botanical Gardens as you wait to go to the airport for clearance and connecting with your departure flight back home.
